Madden Dental was established in Carlow town in 1976 by Dr. Jim Madden, a Carlow born Dentist who qualified in UCD with an Honours Degree in Dental surgery. He has practiced in the UK and Ireland with a special interest in Crown & Bridge.

Our team today includes Dr Sharmistha Bhattacharyya, Dr Zafar Ali Bacha, Registered Dental Nurses Mairead Kavanagh, Chitra Tendulkar and Practice Manager Sarah Hayden.

The team is fully trained in resuscitation, critical and cardiac care.

We are a fully accredited surgery and our Dentists and nurses are registered with the Dental Council of Ireland.

All equipment is state-of-the-art, fully accredited and licensed with the Irish Institute of Radiology. All certificates are fully available for inspection at the practice.

We have OPG (Orthopantomography) Extra Oral Radiography and also Bite Wing (intraoral) Radiography.

We have full Autoclave Sterilisation units in each surgery and Ultrasonic cleaning equipment.

Staff are fully credentialed with annual review courses to remain fully trained in the latest dental education programs.
